The rotary evaporator ika is a device with vacuum pump for quickly concentrating liquid samples. It is mainly used for concentration, crystallization, drying, separation and solvent recovery in the pharmaceutical, chemical and biopharmaceutical industries. The sample is heated, depressurized, and continuously rotated in a spherical borosilicate glass vessel to increase the evaporation surface area and accelerate the evaporation rate. The effect of the evaporation of the rotary evaporator is not only affected by the type of rotary evaporator, evaporation method, evaporation medium and density gradient, but also the rotational speed and evaporation time of the main rotary evaporator also play an important role.
