MAIN APPLICATION
Type QS pump is single-stage double-suction split-casing Centrifugal Pump. The serial pump is mainly used in water supply for factory, mine, city, power station, irrigation and all kinds of water project. The pumped medium is clear water or other liquids which is physically and chemically similar to clear water.
PUMP STRUCTURE
The QS series pump can be assembled in horizontal(see picture one) or vertical, and the horizontal pump’s driving end can be set in left or right side according to client’s requirements. The flange can be set by GB, ISO, DIN, BS or ANSI standard.
The pump casing and cover adopt symmetrical double passage suction. The inlet is not pre-vortex to reduce the inlet loss. The impeller adopts symmetrical double suction. The axial force is balanced in theory. Besides the basic model, the impeller can be designed to extend the range of application range by changing the model and cutting the impeller. The shaft was sealed wholly, it do not contract with medium. Normal shaft chamber can adopt soft packing or mechanical seal.
Bearing selection:
To horizontal pump, the two ends can adopt lubricate bearing by grease or thin oil.
To vertical pump, the upper bearing is lubricated by grease, and the lower is lubricated by tin
bronze or PTFE glide.
Remarks:The left sealing body in above picture is packing seal, and the right is mechanical seal. In
fact, the pump adopts packing seal in the left as the right is also packing seal, so as mechanical seal.
There is no mixed collocation construction.
